African Gold is the bean before the brand — the cradle's first export, the diaspora's first drink, the wealth Africa was already pouring before anybody named the cup. It's one of the designs the audience asked us to bring back, and it anchors the origin story Cxffeeblack has been telling all year: the trade route that built specialty coffee, told from the Black + Arab side of the map. Re-releasing it as part of Cxffeeblack's 6-month shop anniversary ties the milestone to the supply-chain story that birthed it — Ethiopia, Yemen, and Kenya, the trio of origins behind the design.
