**Family Reunion**—because some things were always meant to come back together, and everyone deserves a piece of what's been built.

-a limited run, a small batch that honors the past and present. Once it's gone, it's gone. So, join the reunion and take a sip of this shared history before it’s history.

This ain't just a cup of coffee; it's a full-circle story. Born out of a coffee cypher between three memphis rappers, an Afro Colombian farmer, professor, and barista Meet "Family Reunion," a limited-edition blend that bridges continents, centuries, and bloodlines. It's one part naturally anaerobically fermented coffee from the Guji zone of Ethiopia—the birthplace of coffee. The other part? A 50-hour fermentation wash process from the Afro-Colombian community in El Tambo, region of  Cauca, of a Castillo variety. Two beans, two histories, one origin story.

Let's break it down. Coffee originated in Ethiopia, the motherland of the Arabica species. Colonialism took these seeds and scattered them around the world, and out of that journey came the Castillo varietal. The same goes for the people. The same forces that spread coffee also dispersed Africans to new worlds, giving birth to Afro-Colombian communities that have grown, nurtured, and perfected this varietal.

When you sip this blend, you're tasting a genetic family reunion. It's the African ancestors meeting their descendants in the cup. But it goes deeper. This coffee is roasted 50% by each community—us here in Memphis, Tennessee, and our brothers and sisters farming in Colombia, leaded by the farmer and roaster Fernando Dulcey. It's a reunion not just of coffee genes but of people and stories that have been separated yet remain connected. And because this is a true partnership, profits are split 50/50 between both communities, making this blend a celebration and a shared success.

### Flavor Profile

This blend sings with the fruity and floral notes of its Ethiopian roots, bringing those blueberry and jasmine vibes to the table. Then, the Afro-Colombian Castillo comes in smooth with hints of red apple, caramel sweetness, and a complex acidity. It's like listening to an old jazz record remixed with a new hip-hop beat, or like the salsa songs of the 70’s replayed nowadays by young people in Colombia- classic meets contemporary, and they harmonize.
