In Collaboration with AWFM and UNAPOLOGETIC., “The Medicine” is a coffee meant to represent doing what is necessary to make harsh, unpleasant, and difficult realities and teachings more palatable so that they can be received and ingested by the groups that need to receive them most, namely the disenfranchised and the youth. It’s derived from the popular euphemism “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down” with strong community, wisdom, and love representing the sugar, and the coffee itsself representing “The Medicine”.
